Comment: Most of the press is local or routine. We need sources that meet WP:ORGCRIT. Also, Wikipedia is not a means of promotion so their beer menu needs removed. CNMall41 (talk) 16:23, 2 July 2025 (UTC)

Brew York is an independently owned York-based Brewery, founded in 2016 by Wayne Smith and Lee Grabham.
All their beers are brewed in their original brew house on Walmgate, York, or on the edge of the city at their main production facility in Osbaldwick.[1]
The company runs several tap rooms and pubs in the region under the Brew York brand, including Clifton (York), Pocklington and Knaresborough.[2]

[edit]In December 2024, Brew York announced plans to revive a historic Coaching Inn, The Old Grey Mare, in the Clifton area of York. [4] This was followed by it's first Brew+ venue in Chapel Allerton, Leeds. [5] The concept, with Asian street-food vendor Yuzu, creates a food and beer offering called Brew+Bao.
A second Brew+ venue was opened in May 2025 in Knaresborough as part of The Mitre pub - now part of the Brew York list of venues.[6]
This was followed by an announcement in July 2025 for a new Brew+ venue in Scarborough.[7]
In July 2025, Brew York also announced plans to open a Brew York tap room on the grounds of the Carlton Towers estate between Selby and Goole.[8]
