Daniel Boyes is an English snooker player.[1]
Early life
[edit]Having previously played on a mini snooker table at home, at the age of six-years-old Boyes started attending the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.[2]
Career
[edit]Practising in Leeds, Boyes received coaching from profession player Peter Lines.[2] In January 2023, Boyes became the Yorkshire Under 16 Champion.[3]
In April 2024, Boyes defeated O’Shay Scott 5-3 to win the 2024 English Under-18 Championship as a 16-year-old.[4] That year, he reached the quarter-finals of the English Under-21 Championship.[2] He competed at the Snooker Shoot Out in December 2024, losing to Wu Yize.[5][6]
In January 2026, he was a semi-finalist at the WSF Junior Snooker Championship, in Bulgaria, losing to Wang Xinbo of China.[7] The following week, he advanced to the knockout stages of the WSF Championship in Sofia.[8]
