Submission declined on 7 August 2025 by NeoGaze (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

Comment: From the provided sources, it doesn't appear this subject is notable in the slightest. Only two cases are mentioned (both still ongoing) that are quite ordinary in the activity of a lawyer, specially the second. The tone is also clearly promotional, reading almost like a résumé than a neutral encyclopedic article. You have to prove this subject is notable by the general notability guideline or the people notability basic criteria, at the very least. The promotional parts and sourcing issues found in the lead and biography sections should be fixed as well.Worth noting is that an article with the same name was deleted six months ago, so there is a possibility this draft is a reupload of the original one with little to no changes. Gaetano Giuseppe Vinci (born July 5, 1996)[citation needed] is an Italian lawyer.
Biography
[edit]Born in Policoro (Province of Matera, Italy), Gaetano Giuseppe Vinci graduated from a classical high school and earned his law degree from the University of Bari. After completing his internship, he was admitted to the Bar Association of Matera at the age of 27,[1][failed verification] having followed the traditional academic path and completed all legal requirements in the shortest time permitted by Italian law. As a result, he ranked among the youngest lawyers to qualify in Italy.[2][irrelevant citation]
Career
[edit]In April 2024, a night-time raid by the Direzione Investigativa Antimafia led to the pre-trial detention of 14 individuals,[3][4] in a task force action described as "Crackdown on the 'Ndrangheta and the Apulian Mafia (Sacra Corona Unita)".[5] Vinci's client was released without restrictions by the Court of Review at the first available appeal hearing, two weeks later.[6] The trial is still ongoing.
In the "Marijuana Express" operation, Vinci's client, who was accused of the production, trafficking, and possession of illegal narcotics or psychotropic substances, was cleared of all charges in October 2024, despite facing a potential prison sentence of up to 20 years and a fine of up to €260,000.[7][8] The case gained media attention in Italy because officers from the Guardia di Finanza disguised themselves as couriers[9] to deliver what appeared to be a regular package, sent from Barcelona, Spain,[10] which actually contained 600 grams of cannabis.[11] The trial has concluded, as the Attorney General did not appeal the acquittal verdict.[12][13][14]
In January 2025, a woman was doing her regular shopping at an Eurospin supermarket when she was accidentally and violently struck by a supermarket employee operating a forklift. Seriously injured, she was transported to the hospital and subsequently decided to press charges against the supermarket through her lawyer, Vinci. Since the woman’s right humerus was deemed inoperable and, consequently, her right arm was completely impaired as of June 2025 and no emergency services were alerted in the aftermath of the incident, Vinci filed charges for lesioni personali gravissime and omissione di soccorso" as provided for and punished under Articles 583 and 593 of the Italian Penal Code, that correspond to the offences of grievous bodily harm and duty to rescue under English law. The trial is still ongoing.[15]
