Harry Fraser Catering Services Ltd is an independent catering company based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The company provides outside catering for weddings, corporate events, private functions, and large-scale hospitality services throughout the North East of Scotland.

The business was founded by chef Harold Thompson Fraser in 1994 and was incorporated as a limited company in 2003. Fraser had worked in the catering industry for over 50 years. Under his leadership, the company became a prominent provider in the region, catering for oil companies, public events, and private clients.

In 2025, John Els was appointed Managing Director, following more than two decades in senior operational roles within the company.[1]

  • Corporate hospitality and boardroom lunches
  • Garden parties, BBQs, buffets, and private functions
  • Catering for large events of up to 2,000 people

They also offer optional support for venue selection, wine pairings, and entertainment. Events are tailored to the client's style and budget.

Community and Recognition

The company is a recognised sponsor of local events. In 2024, it supported the P&J 275 Community Fund golf tournament.[2]

It also catered a festive meal hosted by Peterhead FC at Balmoor Stadium.[3]

In 2024, the company provided catering for over 18,000 participants at the Glasgow Kiltwalk, one of Scotland’s largest annual charity events.[citation needed]

That same year, a catering partnership was announced between the ANM Group and Harry Fraser Catering at Thainstone Centre.[4]

Harry Fraser Catering was also featured in a local wedding weekend campaign by the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce.[5]
