Lionel Bailly is a French psychoanalyst, psychiatrist, and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Psychoanalysis at University College London. He is known for his expertise in the work of Jacques Lacan and the psychology of war traumas and human rights violations. Bailly's book Lacan: A Beginner's Guide was recognised as a crucial introduction to Lacan's work and was described as succeeding "where almost everyone else has failed" by Peter Fonagy.[1][2][3]
