Luke Richards is a British-American composer of film and television scores, based in London, United Kingdom.
Career

[edit]Luke's career began after moving from the UK to Los Angeles[1] where he spent two years working at Harry Gregson-Williams's studio, followed by another two years at Hans Zimmer's Remote Control Productions[2]. During that time he worked predominantly with composer David Buckley[3]. He also worked with composers Steve Jablonksy, John Powell[4] and Rachel Portman[5], contributing additional music and arrangements to films including Jason Bourne (2016), Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Skyscraper (2018) and Godmothered (2020). He is currently based in London.
2022 - present
[edit]More recently he has written the scores for the television series Stay Close[6] (Netflix, 2022), Six Four[7] (ITV, 2023), Fool Me Once[8] (Netflix, 2024) and I Fought the Law (ITV, 2025). His music was chosen for the opening and closing theme music to The Rest is Politics podcast.
