American wrestler and coach
Mark Manning is an American former folkstyle and freestyle wrestler who is currently serving as the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers wrestling team. He attended the University of Nebraska–Lincoln for one year before transferring to the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he would win two NCAA Division II Championships and two North Central Conference Championships.

On June 11, 1997, Manning was hired to be the head coach for the Northern Iowa Panthers.[1] On December 13, Manning won his first dual meet with an 18–16 win over Indiana. In his first season, Manning's squad finished with a 5–9 dual record and 30th at the 1998 NCAA Division I Championships.
