Mutaz Zaki^[1] (born February 10, 1970)^[2] is an Egyptian author, poet, translator, and writer.

Zaki was awarded the Licentiate Degree in English language and English literature, majoring in English poetry, Drama & Shakespeare, and Linguistics in May 1992 by the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University, and then was awarded the Postgraduate Diploma in Tourist Guidance, majoring in Egyptology, Archeology and Historical Studies in English^[2].

Zaki worked as a teacher of English in a number of schools, and has been working as a translator since 2004.^[1][2]
