The Story of Yuvraj and Shahajahan is a 2024 Indian short film[3] written, produced and directed by Santosh Ram for Vivek Chitra Production.[4][5]
Plot
[edit]The film focuses on Yuvraj and Shahajahan, two young men living in a rural village in India. They come from different social and economic backgrounds, but they develop a strong friendship. The story follows their daily lives, situations while also celebrating their shared moments of happiness and companionship.[6]
The film highlighted friendship that goes beyond social and economic barriers by comparing the lives of Yuvraj and Shahajahan[7]
Production
[edit]The film was shot in a rural village to keep it authentic. Use of non-professional actors enhanced the realistic portrayal of the homosexual characters and their environment.[8]
