Merahi is a village located in the Hasanpura Block of Siwan district in Bihar, India. It falls under the Pakari Gram Panchayat and is approximately 7 km from the sub-district headquarters in Hasanpura and about 15 km from the district headquarters in Siwan.[6]

Rajkiya Prathmik Vidhyalaya is also known as Merahi Primary School,[9] established in 1960[10] and managed by the Education Department, Government of Bihar, is located in a rural area within the Hasanpura Block of Siwan district.

It's a co-educational institution serving students from Class 1 to 5, with instruction solely in Hindi. The school is accessible by road all areas and its academic session begins in April.[11] While some rooms were recently built, the overall condition of the school remains unchanged. It does not have a pre-primary section or operate in shifts.[12]
