Michael Signorelli (born June 16, 1983) is an American evangelical pastor, author, and filmmaker. He is the founder and lead pastor of V1 Church, a multi-site church based in New York City.[1][2]

Ministry

[edit]

V1 Church

[edit]

In 2016, Mike and Julie Signorelli founded V1 Church in Ridgewood, New York, with 18 people.[3] The church later established a location in Farmingdale, New York in 2017.[4] Since then, V1 Church has expanded to multiple campuses including Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Chicagoland area, Miami, and New Jersey.

In January 2025, the church purchased a former soccer facility for $5.2 million.[5]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, V1 Church transitioned its services online.[6] In April 2020, Signorelli stated that the church was reaching more than five million monthly views through livestreaming.[7]

Deliverance ministry

[edit]

Signorelli is part of a group of ministers known as the Demon Slayers, who focus on deliverance ministry and exorcism alongside pastors such as Greg Locke, Alexander Pagani, Isaiah Saldivar, and Vlad Savchuk. In August 2024, Harper's Magazine highlighted their use of social media and YouTube to build large followings, documenting their conferences and practices.[2]

Filmography

[edit]

Signorelli is the writer and producer of two films. In 2023, Signorelli wrote and produced The Domino Revival, a documentary-style film that released on October 23, 2024, through Fathom Events and AMC Theaters.[8] In March 2024 Fathom Events released a special one night showing presentation of two films, Domino Revival and Come Out In Jesus Name.[9]

In October 2022, Signorelli criticized the Disney+ film Hocus Pocus 2, stating that it put a "friendly face" on witchcraft and expressing concern over occult themes, which he described as spiritually inappropriate.[13]
