Runnymede is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[3] In the 2021 census, Runnymede had a population of 192 people.[2]
History
[edit]Runnymede State School opened on 21 July 1948 and closed in 1964.[4] It was at 100 Scott Lane (26°31′55″S 152°04′22″E / 26.53205°S 152.07291°E).[5][6]
Demographics
[edit]In the 2016 census, Runnymede had a population of 166 people.[7]
In the 2021 census, Runnymede had a population of 192 people.[2]
Education
[edit]There are no schools in Runnymede. The nearest government primary and secondary schools are Nanango State School and Nanango State High School, both in Nanango to the south-west.[8]
