Softstack (formerly Chainsulting) is a German technology company based in Flensburg that provides blockchain software development and smart contract security auditing services. The company was founded in 2017 and rebranded from Chainsulting to Softstack in 2024.[1]
History
[edit]Softstack was founded in 2017 by Yannik Heinze[2] and Florian Protschka in Flensburg, Germany. Initially launched as Chainsulting, the company focused on blockchain consulting and distributed ledger technology.[3]
In 2018, the founders co-authored the German-language book Blockchain ABC.[4]
In 2024, the company was included in the Financial Times FT 1000 ranking of Europe's fastest-growing companies, placed at 211th with a compound annual growth rate of 112.1% between 2019 and 2022.[5]
