[edit]

Under the sub-heading "2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine" in the "History" section, the see-also article name is outdated. (It is now year 2025 in Ukraine). Please change it from "2022-2023 Dnipro missile strikes" to "Dnipro strikes (2022–present)", the current name of the linked article. Thanks. Redbeansoup (talk) 03:00, 1 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Former Name

[edit]

Please change

Dnipro[a] is Ukraine's fourth-largest city

To

Dnipro[a], formerly Dnipropetrovsk is Ukraine's fourth-largest city

Or

Dnipro[a], formerly Dnipropetrovsk and Yekaterinoslav is Ukraine's fourth-largest city

There are still a ton of links to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yekaterinoslav. I think the connection between these names should therefore be in the first paragraph.

Yes: There were other names since the city became important ~1800. Especially Yekaterinoslav but people who are reading sources from that time do not come here and stop reading after the first paragraph to get a brief overlook. Also sources from 1800 usually do not link to Wikipedia. --Fabiwanne (talk) 03:12, 28 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Change "(7—3 thousand Anno Domini)" to "(7—3 thousand BCE)" or (7—3 thousand Anno Domini BS).

Small change, the former "Anno Domini" is a clear mistake in the context, where paleolithic settlements are discussed. 5.2.197.51 (talk) 11:07, 11 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

edit: (7—3 thousand BCE)" or (7—3 thousand BC). Copy Paste mistake on my part.
also how can I edit previous suggestions? 5.2.197.51 (talk) 11:09, 11 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Done Hi you! Thank you for being so observant. You can edit the text that you write in Talk in the same way that you write text in Talk. You can simply erase a mistake, and write something else. Does that answer your question? Friendly, Lova Falk (talk) 17:49, 11 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
