Something I noticed is that on the loading screen for the official games, under the kanji for Touhou Project is "Project Shrine Maiden". Is, or was this the official English name? On the game covers for EoSD to IN, "Project Shrine Maiden" also appears on them, before being replaced with "Touhou Project" starting with PoFV.
I did see that "Project Shrine Maiden" existed on Wikipedia (I'm assuming as a redirect) but was deleted per WP:HOAX. I also don't see a mention of it anywhere on this article, but I do think it deserves a mention or a redirect. S★★★★★17:49, 4 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
