Vadderajulu/Vadiyarajulu those are real suryavamsha Kshatriya's & they have historical evidence from Satya yuga to kaliyuga,
Until 16 century north andra was ruled by Vadiyarajulu who belongs to Odiya kingdom(now Orissa)
Their ancestors are Sagar king, Bhaghirha king, dileep king, Raghu king, Rama king, Kharavela king, Ganapathi Deva , purushotam dev, Narasihma Deva (build Sun Temple in konark), Anantavarman built Puri Jagannath Temple and rebuilt by Anand dev those are odiya rulers.

Recent large addition
[edit]I have now twice recently removed a large edit to the article that I suspect is copy/pasted from somewhere else. It did cite some sources but not in a style that we usually use - see WP:Citing sources. Worse, those sources included this (we do not use web discussion forums etc) and this (jatland.com is an open wiki and therefore also not reliable). Please review our guidance relating to reliable sources. Thanks. - Sitush (talk) 09:35, 29 July 2015 (UTC)
Vadde Raju
[edit]The Vaddera have traditionally been kings. Until the 16th century, Vadiyarajulu, who belongs to Odiya/Kalinga, governed North Andhra and Odiya(now Orissa). Vadde kings of India were known as Gajapathi Kings because they employed elephants in their wars. After defeating Vadiya kings in the Nandapur war in the 16th century, Pusapati kings (Vijayanagaram kings) were awarded the Gajapathi award by Vadiya kings. In the early years of independence, vadde kings were on the list of OC (please read category wise caste system on AP website) Sl.no 673, caste code 1467, caste name Vadde Rajulu, but later years due to financial backwardness, they were placed in the BC category. They comprise state leaders, administrative officers, politicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, industrialists, financiers, doctors , accountants, lawyers, professionals, engineers, academicians, businessmen and traders diversified in various professions with varying incomes. but mainly VADDE RAJU in South Andhra region people they settled as Builder and Contractors in various cities like Hyderbad,Banglore,Chennai. agricultural labouring. The effects of mechanisation, usually financed and run by higher caste groups, has caused this change and government recognition of the issues has led to them being designated as an Other Backward Class. [edit]Change the current paragraph:
"The Vaddera have traditionally been stone cutters but many have had to change to agricultural labouring. The effects of mechanisation, usually financed and run by higher caste groups, has caused this change and government recognition of the issues has led to them being designated as an Other Backward Class.[1]
Some Vaddera families in Chilakaluripet, Andhra Pradesh, have been noted as forming a network to buy children and groom them for sexual exploitation.[2]"
To:
The Vaddera, also referred to regionally as Vadde, Waddera, or odderazulu, are a traditional stone-cutting and earth-working community found primarily in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and parts of Maharashtra. They have long been associated with digging wells, quarrying stone, constructing tank bunds, and other earthworks. Over time, many have shifted to agriculture and contract work due to mechanization and social changes.
A closely associated group, the Oddēs or Voddas (also known as Wudders), are described in Edgar Thurston’s *Castes and Tribes of Southern India* (1909) as “the navvies of the country,” known for their rapid and efficient execution of construction and infrastructure work. Thurston notes their origins as Telugu-speaking migrants from the Orissa region (present-day Odisha), and describes them as industrious, open-hearted, and proud people with distinct cultural practices.
Traditional folklore among the Oddēs recounts a story in which they were blessed by Lord Shiva with sacred ash that turned into gold, symbolizing divine reward for their labor. Some members of the community have prospered as agriculturists and contractors in modern times, while others have continued to practice their ancestral skills.
The Vaddera are classified as an Other Backward Class (OBC) by the Government of India, entitling them to affirmative action programs in education and employment.[1]
