I notice this template is very useful, but dont have the View Discuss Edit shortcuts on the left side as a usual a Navbox templates have, its helpful when editing 20 logs any programmer can added please, I would be appreciated Panama2005 (talk) 19:45, 23 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Currently this template sets a static light background-color which is a problem for dark mode. Besides just looking out of place, it causes a workaround style to incorrectly apply inside game log sections which makes some text have the same color as the background in dark mode. See 49ers–Packers rivalry#Game results and 2019 Tampa Bay Rays season#Postseason rosters for examples. I've fixed this in a sandbox at Template:Game log start/sandbox by moving the inline styles (except those that can be set with parameters) to TemplateStyles. Articles can be previewed with the sandbox version using the prefix User:EvenTwist41/sandbox at Special:TemplateSandbox. EvenTwist41 (talk) 01:35, 5 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
