I've written some thoughts about Wikipedia on my personal blog. Following the experience described I don't feel that I can in good conscience contribute to Wikipedia as it currently stands. I wrote that post, ironically?, before I became aware of Larry Sanger's WP:9T. There are a number of harmonies.
I regret feeling as though I cannot responsibly contribute to the project and hope that this one day changes.
Previous greeting:
Hello!
I had an older Wikipedia account that I seem to have lost access to. I also didn't want to use that username anymore so perhaps the lost access is for the best. I created the first page for the Barbary lion and over the years have been astonished to see it grow from a tiny stub into a huge resource. I thought I had also contributed to the page for the eclectus parrot, but if I did I must have done so anonymously. Anyway, I've done a few bits and pieces here and there, correcting video game pages or adding details.
You can probably track down who I am behind the screen if you want to, I haven't made it hard. :)

(This list could go on: there are hundreds of Buddhist temples in the US that are invisible to Wikipedia and whose organizations are not even mentioned on pages about American Buddhism, etc.)
