My opinion on admin recall.
...
The theory of admin recall should most definitely be adhered to. Accountability to the community does not end once someone has all the tools they want, so if the community does not trust an admin, they should step down. However, the fact is, there is currently no practical way to implement it. Trolls can too easily game the system, and a good admin will probably make enemies of people with any reasonable suffrage level that can be specified. The best possible solution is to have a process that requires a consensus to remove admin priveleges, but there is no such process, because even saying "I don't think X should be an admin" is considered so terrible that by the time someone would start such a vote, it would reach the point where Arbcom has to be invoked to end it. So the only admin recall process I support is "If I feel I no longer have the trust of the community, I will step down."
