Hello and welcome to my user page! You can find its subpages here. WIP stands for "work in progress" and pages with such a name are used for my drafts. I'm Bizarre Bizarre and you can learn more about me thanks to my userboxes on the right.
My contributions will be related to my special interests, which mostly revolve around music artists. My favourite genre is pop music, but I also enjoy other genres. My username references the fifth song of the Dieter: Der Film soundtrack and my signature is a tribute to Modern Talking because I was obsessed with Dieter Bohlen when I created my account (I still love his music). While my contributions are primarily related to music, you may at times find me editing articles that have to do with other topics, usually cultural ones. Areas I typically cover in my edits include France, Germany, Israel, the United States, and Ukraine; this list is not exhaustive. Germany in particular is a major special interest of mine.
Once I "adopt" an article, I tend to get very invested and I often edit them in major ways over the course of several days or weeks. My brain just works like that! On the flipside, I make minor edits while reading random articles as well. Images, especially infobox images, are very important to me and I will also make (or at least suggest) changes related to that. I try my best to avoid unreliable sources and remove them per WP:RSPS. However, I can't know all of them, so please let me know if I accidentally used one. Besides Wikipedia, I'm semi-active on Wikimedia Commons, where I mostly focus on categorising images and reporting copyright violations.
While I'm not including it in the columns for aesthetic reasons, I also took care of adding some (non-classical) German artists to the list of Grammy Award winners and nominees by country. The articles included here are based on my own evaluation of my contributions, which not everyone may consider "significant". This list also partly exists as a sort of companion to my watchlist in order to facilitate access.
