McCraft Ainebyoona

Ainebyoona Craft aka McCraft, born on 30th March 2001 is an Ugandan journalist, humorist and gospel artist. He majors in broadcast journalism, does comics and music mostly in Runyankole.[1]
Background and education
[edit]Born in Mbarara district, now Rwampara district, Ainebyoona attended Arkden Junior School and Kashekure Primary School for PLE. He later joined Citizens’ Secondary School and Nyakayojo Secondary School for UCE and Kakoba Institute of Commercial and Technical Studies for National Certificate in Journalism and Media Studies. He is an Anglican and member of the Church of Uganda.[2]
Career
[edit]Journalism
[edit]In early 2023, Ainebyoona joined Sky TV, apparently Tayari West TV in Mbarara as a video and news editor. He later joined Vega Radio, an online radio station in Mbarara as a show host. As of August 2024, he joined Vision Radio 89.1 FM in Mbarara as a radio presenter where he is up to date.[3]
Humor
[edit]Ainebyoona started humor in late 2022 while at institution when he broke through with comic videos of his own composition on his TikTok account.[4]
Music
[edit]Ainebyoona started writing music in 2013 after learning how to play piano. He released his first song “My Way” in 2019.[5]
