Thank you for reading my user-page!

[edit]
I just got started and will focus on learning how to navigate and use edit functions. It is a lot to take in, so please do not hesitate to correct me or suggest improvements in how I work.
[edit]

I am retired and have a lot of time to think and research things I don't know, so I figured that since people complain about what is true online, why not spend my time researching and contributing constructively?

[edit]

I may have a lot to learn about how the Wikipedia community and volunteer work functions, but I have a strong core belief that:

[edit]
  • Publicly available and accessible reliable knowledge creates a better world.
  • None of us know anywhere close to enough to safeguard its veracity.
  • Process and evidence matter. My personal ideas on what is true and what is not are irrelevant to editing.
  • As many people as possible should participate in editing Wikipedia because we need as many perspectives as possible because it humbles us and forces us to actually reach consensus.

Thank you for having me and I look forward to work with you!
