Wayne Lamont (born August 19, 2000) is an American wrestler recognized for his achievements in beach wrestling and collegiate wrestling. A three-time NCWA All-American, Lamont placed 4th, 8th, and 5th at the NCWA National Championships in 2022, 2023, and 2024, respectively, competing in the 157 lbs and 174 lbs weight classes. He was also the first male All-American in wrestling for Stony Brook University.
Internationally, Lamont competes for the United States in the 80 kg weight class in beach wrestling. He earned a World Bronze Medal at the 2024 FISU Beach Wrestling Championships in Rio de Janeiro and achieved a world ranking of 6th in 2023. Lamont stands 5'11" tall and was featured in a May 2023 article on TheMat.com about his selection to the U.S. Senior Beach Wrestling Team.

High School Career
[edit]At Longwood Senior High School, Lamont was a standout wrestler, earning recognition in Suffolk County tournaments. His performances helped solidify his reputation as a top competitor in the Long Island wrestling community. He graduated from Longwood in 2018 and later continued his academic and athletic career at Stony Brook University, graduating in 2024.
Collegiate Wrestling Career
