Hoary (talk) 01:47, 11 February 2025 (UTC)Janina Green moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Janina Green. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Jamiebuba (talk) 07:22, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
- Hi,
- Sorry if I mucked that up I only saw your message after I published it again. re " it needs more sources to establish notability." there are 10 references. How many ore do you think it needs? I will add more over time. I just thought it would be good to get it published for me and others to work on.

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
The page Draft:Michael Williams (photographer) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appeared to be a direct copy from http://www.colourfactory.com.au/cf-photographic-gallery-melbourne/2015-photographic-exhibitions/past-michaelwilliams/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition has been be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 14:04, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Dianna,
- I created this as a Draft page and was working through the content. The part you flagged as having copyright content was place holder text while I was working on the page.
- Is there a way I can access the page as there was original content with citations/references I will have lost otherwise?
- Thanks,
- Yanni Bonjours1234 (talk) 23:10, 5 May 2025 (UTC)
- Replied on my talk page. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 08:08, 6 May 2025 (UTC)

[edit] Hello, I'm GalStar. I noticed that in this edit to Michael Williams (photographer), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. GalStar (talk) (contribs) 02:11, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, Sorry about that. I had previously included an image and thought i had done it correctly but it was then removed. I tried to do it again properly but realised it was still not right and so removed it myself. I think I need to get explicit written permission from the photographer to release it under a free license (like Creative Commons). A statement like “OK to use on Wikipedia” is not enough. Is that correct? Bonjours1234 (talk) 02:16, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Michael Williams (photographer)
[edit]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Michael Williams (photographer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://mwarchive.au/biography. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - The wikipedia page and it's content was created long before the page you are saying it has copied content from ( https://mwarchive.au/biography was only created this month and has copied content from the wikipedia page). Can you please reverse your Speedy deletion nomination. Bonjours1234 (talk) 12:56, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
