Len Blavatnik (follow-up)

[edit]

Hi Chetsford. Welcome back! We were briefly in touch at the end of May concerning the lengthy discussion at Talk:Len Blavatnik#Philanthropy sections. At the time, you advised me to ping some of the other recently active editors, which I did to no avail. And since that time, the sole other editor in the dispute made it clear that they no longer want to participate in the discussion - but consensus was never reached. Would you mind stepping in now, as an uninvolved editor, and settling the matter? Thanks! C at Access (talk) 14:25, 11 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi C at Access - thank you for your patience. I'll review it now. Please standby. Chetsford (talk) 23:32, 12 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
C at Access - the Marlowe sentence seems to be the only sticking point on the basis of an objection. So that this doesn't hold-up the entire section, I'm going to implement everything but that and then will separately contact the editor who objects to that sentence to assess the strength of their objection. However, can you please post a fresh version of the entire page, inclusive of the proposed philanthropy section, in draft space so I can just copy/paste the whole thing in? I just want to make sure I don't misplace the proposed section within the article. (Go ahead and leave the Marlow sentence as you've proposed it and I'll manually address that.)
