2025 opened with trumpet fanfares that first sounded OTD in 1725 (as the Main page had). Today I had a composer (trumpeter, conductor) on the main page who worked closely with another who just became GA, - small world! To celebrate: mostly flowers pics from vacation ;) - Thank you for improving article quality in January! -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:14, 21 January 2025 (UTC)

September 2025
[edit] Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Jan Klenberg. When you were adding content to the page, you added duplicate arguments to a template which can cause issues with how the template is rendered. In the future, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find these errors as they will display in yellow at the top of the page. Thanks. Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 09:43, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hello! I just wanted to request that you archive your user talk page. While it may not be bothersome to you, many editors have slow connections, and having a very large talk page can hamper communication. If you need help, just check out the guide over at Help:Archiving a talk page. Thanks! Zackmann (Talk to me/What I been doing) 09:43, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know, @Zackmann08. Spotted where I had the dup argument and I'll be more careful in the future. I've also archived the past two years. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 10:01, 23 September 2025 (UTC)
Translation Help (FIN-ENG)

I would like to have this article translated from Finnish to English, but I have to translate it myself due to Wikipedia restrictions. Can you help?
https://fi.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heidi_Lind%C3%A9n Rosaurus (talk) 06:24, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
- I've replied at fi:Keskustelu käyttäjästä:Htm#Käännösapua / FI-ENG, the gist of it being that I've created Heidi Lindén so that you can add your translation. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 10:25, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation needed for Department of Excise and Prohibition
[edit]Hi @Finnusertop, that (Jharkhand) part in the title is necessary for the page Department of Excise and Prohibition because several other states in India have departments with the same or similar name. Keeping the state name in parentheses helps avoid confusion and maintains consistency with similar pages like Department of Excise (Andhra Pradesh) and Department of Excise & Taxation, Haryana. Flashthomsom (talk) 14:08, 7 October 2025 (UTC)
- @Flashthomsom there are a couple of ways to look at this, and depending on which we take, I could also be wrong here.
- But to go straight to the point, a disambiguated title like Department of Excise and Prohibition (Jharkhand) should never exist without an undisambiguated one like Department of Excise and Prohibition also existing. We only require that the reader of Wikipedia knows the title of the topic they want to read about. They don't have to guess to insert the correct disambiguator.
- When two or more pages like this exist, the question which way the redirect, or a possible hatnote, or even a disambiguation page, should go is another issue. I've moved the page back for now since you asked. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 14:15, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
- thanks, can you review that ai tag is still necessary? Flashthomsom (talk) 16:59, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
- I can not. You should talk to EatingCarBatteries, who added the tag. – Finnusertop (talk ⋅ contribs) 17:19, 8 October 2025 (UTC)
