Hello INDUSTRYL3NS. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:INDUSTRYL3NS. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=INDUSTRYL3NS|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 12:31, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- I am not affiliated with Hevi or her management in any commercial capacity, and I am not receiving any payment for writing this article. My intention is purely based on observation and genuine support. As someone who has been closely following Hevi’s artistic journey and growth, I identified a gap in how her international achievements are being represented—especially within her home country. This article is meant to highlight and celebrate her success, not for profit, but for documentation, recognition, and encouragement of Tanzanian talent making waves globally. - Your username suggests involvement in the Tanzanian music industry, are you?
- Why did you select this person to edit about, and not another? You specified "commercial capacity"; do you have any form of relationship with the artist? 331dot (talk) 13:25, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- I am a music industry writer and blogger who contributes articles to support and promote artists, both in Tanzania and internationally. I also volunteer to write Wikipedia entries for artists I believe deserve recognition on that global platform.
- When I choose to write about an artist, it is not because I have been paid or have any direct contact with them. In most cases, the artists are not even aware that I have written about them, and I do not seek acknowledgment or compensation in return. All the information I use is gathered through independent research from publicly available sources and online platforms.
- Every article I create is a voluntary contribution aimed at documenting, highlighting, and preserving the achievements of East African musicians — and adding value to the regional music industry as a whole. INDUSTRYL3NS (talk) 14:56, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your answer. Just to be very clear- you aren't writing as part of your job duties(even if your job has nothing to do with the artists themselves)? And is your blog monetized? 331dot (talk) 15:00, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- I currently publish my work exclusively on Instagram. While my posts may reference articles from other blogs or media platforms, I do not personally know the owners or writers behind those sources. INDUSTRYL3NS (talk) 15:56, 26 June 2025 (UTC)

Hello, INDUSTRYL3NS, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Qazxswedcf (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 23:47, 15 November 2025 (UTC)

{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Star Mississippi 00:02, 16 November 2025 (UTC)- Regardless of your explanation to @331dot in June, your edits and approvals of Qazxswedcf's drafts is unacceptable and clearly promotional. As such you have lost access to edit. Should you wish to request an unblock, please be prepared to disclose your connections to fellow editors and Rayvanny. Blocked as a sockpuppet
[edit]Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
