the hillside swept bare behind it;
the last echoes died on the white slopes;
the new mount glittered and lay still in the silent valley."

Vyavhaar-Parmarth "satya" is not same as Vyavhaar-Nischay "nay"

[edit]

Both Buddha and Shankara have criticized anekantvaad's principle of two contradictory viewpoint based attributes present in a system. They are not same as V/P "satyas". Please come to Kundkund talk page. 76.32.28.129 (talk) 00:47, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Just noting that this seems to be another one of User:Starry Pine's socks - geolocates to the same area, anyway. monkeysmashingkeyboards (talk) 02:08, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You wont respond to the topic huh!!? There are 100s of phd jains who are already creating materials to blast these claims pushed by pov authors. 172.58.113.83 (talk) 21:03, 21 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Malformed template

[edit]

You have a malformed template in Jain meditation

It starts {{bolckquote

I think I could probably figure it out but I think it's best if you fix the spelling and locate the end. S Philbrick(Talk) 16:08, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Sphilbrick fixed; thanks! Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 17:17, 25 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you delete precious historic manuscript references ?

[edit]

I put so much effort into finding those obscure and preserved medieval age manuscripts, made it available on archive for everyone and linked and collaborated it in the Pratyabhijna page .. If you want to improve something, correct etc you could have done that.. why have you deleted the whole thing? Most o those material are historic and it is good to have them on wiki right ? anyways I really don't have the time to do it all over again. Charlotte-gregory-t (talk) 00:48, 12 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@Charlotte-gregory-t: I gave edit-summaries for every edit; see the history of the page. finding those obscure says a lot; you're not supposed to do your own WP:OR, but to summatize what WP:RS say. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 03:15, 12 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Well what about those 15th century scans from internet archive, you should have at-least left those sources for people to find right ? I did not do any research or conclusion there.. oh well.. and these sources are obscure by nature right? I do not agree with you on those front, may be i got over zealous and connected few dots (Original Research) .. but for those few lines you have simply deleted the whole thing, I digress... your platform , your rules. keep it the way you want and live with it to its end. Charlotte-gregory-t (talk) 04:29, 12 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Charlotte-gregory-t there's a "See also"-section, "Further reading"-section and an "External links"-section, where you can add usefull stuff. The line

The school of Pratyabhijñātmaka also uses the 9th century work vijñāna-bhairava-tantra as one of its founding texts and is referred to as Śiva-jñāna-upaniṣad by śri abhinavagupta

you took from Vijñāna Bhairava Tantra, yet there it says

References to it appear throughout the literature of Kashmir Shaivism, indicating that it was considered to be an important text in this tradition.

I don't have much patience with this kind of editing, and I take it to be indicative of your level of mastery of this topic and of the wotkings of Wikipedia. So, I suggest you first read some basic policies, that is, WP:VERIFIABILITY, WP:R, and WP:OR. Regards, Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 07:29, 12 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]

History of North India, name?

[edit]

If one were to create an article on history of India proper (North of northern India)

Should one call it

  • "History of Āryāvarta"

I am refraining from calling it the history of Northern India as that term isn't agreed upon and has multiple definitions (same argument can be made of Āryāvarta and India proper)

So I am guessing Indo-Gangetic Plains would be the correct one? ScrubbedSoap (talk) 08:25, 26 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
