AfC notification: Draft:Shira (dog) has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Shira (dog). Thanks! Robert McClenon (talk) 04:02, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you -Just to clarify what you are saying is I should change it to just "SHIRA"?If not what should it be called? Also do I edit the name at this point? I'm finding all this confusing. I wish someone could fix these bits for me LOL! Thanks for your patience and help. PlanetChatty (talk) 04:59, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Do not change the name back to Shira. I changed the name to Draft:Shira (dog) because there are other Shira articles. You can ask about disambiguation at the Teahouse. At this point, all that you need to do is to wait for your draft to be reviewed, but I would suggest that you also ask about disambiguation. Robert McClenon (talk) 05:36, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your help. Unfortunately I went to bed and just saw this as well as that it's been reviewed and rejected due to sources. It's difficult with all the sources out there to know which ones are acceptable. PlanetChatty (talk) 13:33, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Shira (dog) (October 30)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by DoubleGrazing was:
This draft's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article. In summary, the draft needs multiple published sources that are:
Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Clever pooch, obvs, and well done for creating this draft! :) However... as yet, there is insufficient evidence that the subject is notable enough to justify an article. Only two of the sources cover Shira in significant extent, and they are both local lifestyle publications (New Jersey Monthly, Monmouth Magazine; the latter I would classify as hyperlocal). We normally require at least three sources which meet the WP:GNG standard, and at least one of them, ideally all, should be national media outlets or major regional ones. Please carry on researching the topic, to see if you could find more and better sources covering Shira.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Does Forbes and BBC Science not count? You can google her and see many scientific articles cover her. Please let me know. Thank you. PlanetChatty (talk) 13:07, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You can put in Shira Millman Genius Word Dog and lots of stuff on her comes up. I don't know which sources are considered acceptable. She's also in ZME science and Yahoo news. Tons of articles out there. How do I know which ones will be acceptable? Please help. Please inquire at the Teahouse

I will repeat my suggestion that you visit the Teahouse, where you can ask for advice about two subjects, general notability and disambiguation. You are likely to get better advice there than on your user talk page. Robert McClenon (talk) 16:22, 30 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
