Hello!
I did provide a reliable source as a link in my update to the article about Werner Klemperer. It was an interview he did in 1985 with the Orlando Sentinel. There, he confirmed he had little aptitude to music. Did you read it? I think this interview is proper evidence for the update. The internet is filled with misinformation that he was an accomplished violinist and conductor, which is a long-standing myth.
Do you believe he was a professional concert conductor and violinist? Is this why you're removing this update? What is your source if you believe this to be true? RF8666 (talk) 18:27, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it wasn't added properly, we don't add external links in prose, see Wikipedia:External links and Help:Referencing for beginners. - FlightTime (open channel) 19:18, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
As a new user, I'm don't understand what "prose" means as an external link. I added the link originally per editing guidelines and it functions correctly. I don't see an explanation of "prose" in the references.
I also have to say as a new user, I'm disappointed by your approach to my article update. To simply delete it and call it nonsense does not seem to follow the Wikipedia guidelines I read. It says that in disputes to be polite, civil, and not personal. And rather than deleting a user's update as a first reaction, one should attempt to discuss and compromise first in a friendly manner. This I didn't find from you. RF8666 (talk) 19:30, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
Prose is the article body, please read the guidelines of the links I provided. - FlightTime (open channel) 19:32, 21 January 2026 (UTC)[reply]
