Sydney Gibbes page edits 2013
[edit]Hi, on 10 December 2013 you made the following additions to the page "Sydney Gibbes": The house was built circa 1890 by a charity founded to distribute free medicine to the poor. During the war the building became the central 'Air Raid Protection' telephone exchange and there is still a 'bomb proof' concrete partition between the ground and first floor.
Can you tell me where you found this information? I am a local Oxford historian. Many thanks. 2A00:23C8:D020:4501:4965:70C4:C8ED:7A94 (talk) 16:20, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
- You are mistaken. On that date, I made this edit. A slight variant of the text you quote was added to the article at this edit of 2013-02-12 and then tweaked for grammar which matches the text of your quote at this edit of 2013-02-23.
- I cannot answer your question. If you do find a source for that text, please add it to the article.

New message from Shearonink
[edit] You are invited to join the discussion at Talk:Effects of the 1928 Okeechobee hurricane in Florida § Harv warning on Ref #2. There's a Harv warning on this article and I can't figure out how to fix it. You edited Template:Atlantic hurricane best track that I think is causing the issue, am hoping you can fix the Harv warning. Thanks, Shearonink (talk) 03:15, 7 July 2025 (UTC)
- Replied there.

Help request
[edit]Hi, some time ago I asked about importing citation module. I just did that. It's imported at pl:wikt:Moduł:Citation/, module is invoked at Wikisłownikarz:Sławobóg/cytuj and there is an error. All I changed is removing /cs1/ from module title (I changed it inside of module). Could you help me? Sławobóg (talk) 14:28, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- Somehow you seem to have imported an old version of Module:Citation/CS1/Date validation to wikt:Moduł:Citation/Date validation. When importing the cs1|2 module suite, import only the current version of each module.

- Indeed, I don't know how did that happen, thanks. To translate parameters do I need to do that just at /Whitelist or somewhere else? Sławobóg (talk) 16:10, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
- Add. Do not translate. Add the Polish parameter names to the existing lists in pl:wikt:Moduł:Citation/Whitelist. Add them as blocks of names, don't interleave them so that when it comes time to update the module suite, you simply copy the blocks of Polish parameter names from the old module to the new.
- Alas, that won't work for pl:wikt:Moduł:Citation/Configuration where English and Polish parameter names are mapped to meta-parameter names in the aliases table. Do not translate the meta-parameter names.

- How do I change linking to Wikipedia? Now author-link/ISBN etc. liks to Wiktionary. Sławobóg (talk) 13:11, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
- For
|author-linkn=
,|title-link=
, etc you must specify the links as interproject links. To link to Charles Darwin's article at pl.wiki from pl.wikt, write|author-link=:w:Charles Darwin
(you can also write|author=[[:w:Charles Darwin]]
). - For ISBN and other identifiers, the module suite is supposed to look in
id_handlers
for a link to the wikipedia article. For example, for ISBN, ifuse_identifier_redirects
is set totrue
, the module uses theid_handlers['ISBN'].redirect
to get the article name that is the link. Whenuse_identifier_redirects
is set tofalse
, and there is a Wikidata identifier provided, the module is supposed to fetch the wikipedia article title from Wikidata for the local language (forISBN
should returnMiędzynarodowy znormalizowany numer książki
). That works fine for pl.wiki but is broken for pl.wikt. I'm wondering if it ever worked. - If you will permit, I will do some experimenting tomorrow my time (UTC-6) to see if I can arrive at fix.

- Yea, that would be nice. I noticed you started doing something, do you need changes to be reviewed for testing to work? Sławobóg (talk) 16:19, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- You either trust me or you don't. Applying pending changes protection implies that you don't. If you want my help, remove the protection.
- —Trappist the monk (talk) 16:24, 11 July 2025 (UTC)
- I'm not the admin, and all pages are under protection. I saw that you deleted ISBN message and it wasn't there, so I guess you can ignore the protection. Sławobóg (talk) 16:29, 11 July 2025 (UTC)

Way to get list of articles
[edit]Hello Trappist the monk, It seems like you are very much proficient in citation related issues and you are also very active on such things. I want to know if there is any way to get page name which have same url at references or get all pages of any location of saarland which have any citation error, let's say URL errors.––kemel49(connect)(contri) 14:09, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- I don't quite understand your question. If you are looking for cs1|2 url errors in articles that contain the word 'saarland', this search finds about 60 articles. If you are looking for a specific url, try Special:LinkSearch. Did I answer your question?

- yup,
Thanks––kemel49(connect)(contri) 14:29, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
- By the way why these article have similar issues, i tried to fix them here and here. Is there any way that we can solve them at once.––kemel49(connect)(contri) 15:23, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
