ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:52, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Best talk here instead of the TA's user Talk page, because I'm absolutely convinced that's an AI bot and it's trying to learn from the responses it gets!
Granted, it's a terrible bot that can't really do anything, but this doesn't feel like a human trying to lean English, which was my first instinct.
If you check the filter history, you can see it's literally started to copy what I wrote into the Teahouse here Blue Sonnet (talk) 06:46, 21 November 2025 (UTC)

- @Versions111 and Blue-Sonnet, I just stumbled on this discussion. FWIW, I first made the connection to the ...4531 account by searching global accounts. I'm not experienced with reporting accounts to global/stewards but that might be worth doing. Also, following Blue Sonnet's suggestion I did request that edit filter, which has been implemented as a private filter. Thanks again, and happy editing!
Earth605talk 17:04, 23 November 2025 (UTC)I put a notability tag up at Kasinimnikwanapikak Lake. I don't think it meets Wikipedia:Notability (geographic features), specifically "Named natural features are often notable, provided information beyond statistics and coordinates is known to exist". Kasinimnikwanapikak Lake only has one reference that actually mentions the lake and it is merely a list of stats and coordinates. I did not put it up for deletion because I'm hoping that there's another source out there and I think finding one is a better solution. I started a discussion at the talk page. Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 07:06, 28 December 2025 (UTC)
Are you using AI?
[edit]Are you using AI to write and edit articles? I ask because your sentence structure is odd and word choice is weird. Example: "The provincial park is hosted by Dollar Lake. I removed that sentence. Also, all the lake articles you created seem to follow a bot-like template. Each lake you created needs formatting clean up — another sign of AI written articles. Also the fact that you used wikipedia as a reference tells me AI was involved because an edittor with 3000+ edits should know you can't do that. Read Wikipedia:Writing articles with large language models. Please don't use AI to write for you as it just creates more work for other editors. Masterhatch (talk) 15:23, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

- I know that i can’t use LLMs to make lake articles. Versions111 (talk • contribs) 15:27, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
- Alright. But i had to ask because there were signs of AI-assisted writing. Are you using a korean to english language translator by chance? Cuz that would produce some of the oddities you've written. Masterhatch (talk) 15:44, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
- I don’t use Korean to English translators. Versions111 (talk • contribs) 15:47, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
- There's nothing wrong with using a translator because it's your own words you are using. As for AI, you did use ChatGPT at Pekwachnamaykoskwaskwaypinwanik Lake 6 months ago. Thankfully that AI slop was reverted pretty quickly. Masterhatch (talk) 17:24, 3 January 2026 (UTC)
- At that time, I didn’t know policies, so i made that mess. I had 2 edits when i first expanded the article. Versions111 (talk • contribs) 22:42, 3 January 2026 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Dmartin969. I noticed that you recently removed content from Big Ass Lake without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
