Rollback

Hello! I'm reaching out to request rollback rights so I can tackle vandalism more effectively. I've been actively patrolling recent changes and using Twinkle to revert vandalism, and I'd also like to try using Huggle which requires rollback permissions.
I get that rollback is a fast-paced tool meant for clear cases of vandalism or unconstructive edits, and I'm well-versed in the relevant policies and guidelines.
Thanks for considering my request! Igor123121 (talk) 08:38, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

I kindly request for Full Rollback Priviledges I was recently denied because of my poor quality to warn victim editors on their talk pages. I took that as a lesson and have improved on that rapidly quick. (Together with advice from 2 other loyal editors). But Please (Begging you) I really need these priviledges as I have read the advantages favor my abilities to warn editors Accurately Fast compared to The Default manual revert which is really delaying and a struggle. I recently attempted using the Twinkle Tool but it ruins the website's performance on my side (not sure why). Article modifications are coming in with blazing speed almost every milli-second. And the Default Manual Revert slows me down horribly. And victims may succeed in leaving damaged content on articles and other platforms, As Not every vandalism Fighter seems to be always online as much as I am now.
Please grant me the priviledges. It would be a pleasure to protect Wikipedia into being a safe, decent, and clean community. You have my word. I will Never let you down sir/ma'am. Criticize (talk) 09:19, 22 June 2025 (UTC)
- @Criticize There's no point making a new request, when your previous request was declined so soon. It hasn't even been archived yet! Please wait atleast 2 weeks before making a new request. Begging rights like that would be considered Hat collecting There are plenty of other tools out there. Twinkle is not the only tool. In fact rollback is actually worse compared to other tools, when it comes to reverting. If you contribute using a desktop, you can also try RedWarn, or it's successor Ultraviolet. Cheers! - @Ophyrius
- I strictly take back the begging and pleading part! I was indeed desperate yesterday.
- Funny you now say rollback is worse. (Not sure if I can believe you)
- Just this morning I coded a python update to a script entry I took from the anti-vandal tool. And it shockingly improved the speed of the manual revert method efficiently on my side.
- And reduced time to auto warn editors, with customizable settings.
- Not sure if I should come back to make another request. But I certainly will if i'm interested.
- However, I still have this burning desire to help Wikipedia, and it can't be stopped.
- Have a good day. Criticize (talk) 09:43, 23 June 2025 (UTC)
- I'm saying that as I personally have used it & I find other tools better. I used that permission for other tools like Antivandal & SWViewer OPHYRIUS ⚔ 11:17, 23 June 2025 (UTC)

I am respectfully requesting rollback rights as I am committed to upholding the quality and reliability of Wikipedia by actively monitoring recent changes and promptly reverting vandalism and unconstructive edits. Having familiarized myself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, I believe that the rollback tool will allow me to more efficiently contribute to the maintenance of article integrity and the overall improvement of the encyclopedia.
