Page mover

[edit]
(add request · view requests)

I am active with cleaning up disambiguation pages, which are often malplaced. Almost all of my RMTR requests end up smoothly going through, and I have had several RMs that I knew had consensus and would have closed, if I could. I believe I have demonstrated good judgement in RM discussions, and will use the permissions to improve the encyclopedia. Thanks. Ivey (talk - contribs) 16:44, 15 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

While volunteering WP:UAA I find creations that should be in draftspace instead of userspace. Thus, I move using a script that requires additional steps to make a soft-redirect after moving from sandboxes/userspaces. See the log here. I kindly request this flag as it will help me to avoid leaving an unnecessary redirect as discussed at User_talk:Agent_VII#About_your_move. I also intent to use this tool if granted for WP:PMRC#3, WP:PMRC#7 when going through Special:NewPagesFeed. Thank you. Agent 007 (talk) 09:58, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Experienced editor with nearly 100,000 edits over ten years (and over 15 years of experience on the German Wikipedia). I am an active contributor at RM:TR, regularly submitting requests and attentively following each move process. All of my requests have reflected consensus and none have ever been contested, to my knowledge. In addition to filing requests, I have also performed several moves myself. I am kindly requesting the page mover right and hope to contribute at RM:TR when time permits and where my expertise is of use. Thank you for your consideration. I've over 100k edits between this and my previous account and have made hundreds (possibly even thousands?) of moves, both discussion-based, bold, and technical. I'm pretty much only getting this to avoid needing to make uncontroversial technical requests, to reduce burden on reviewers. I will only really use this infrequently and for minor and uncontroversial moves. Almost all my uses will likely be romanization of Korean-related (fixing incorrect romanizations for especially historical topics). grapesurgeon (seefooddiet) (talk) 17:51, 19 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
