This doesn't seem to work? On pages like Central African rock python, Ruff (bird) or Wollemia, it contains no identifying information, just linking to the main page or Arkive. On other pages, it contains an incorrect link (e.g. on Indri and Gentoo penguin), and when I manually correct the URL on e.g. Gentoo Penguin[1], I get three captures like this one, all saying "website unavailable". Or I get [2] one that hasn't been archived at all.

I obviously haven't checked all uses of this template, but even if some would turn out to be working, the error rate is way too high to be a useful addition. Fram (talk) 09:29, 25 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

Leaning delete. I'm not sure what the intended purpose of this template is. Is it meant to send readers to the wayback machine and then hope they click on a sanpshot that whoever added the template, meant for them to click it? That seems like a very pointless external link. German title templates

The result of the discussion was merge or delete as suggested to Template:German rank and Template:German title. Izno (talk) 21:42, 22 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Propose merging Template:German title Freifrau, Template:German title Freiherr, Template:German title Freiin, Template:German title Fürst, Template:German title Fürstin, Template:German title Graf, Template:German title Gräfin, Template:German title Herzog, Template:German title Herzogin, Template:German title Prinz, Template:German title Prinzessin, Template:German title Reichsfreiherr, Template:German title Reichsfürst, Template:German title Reichsgraf and Template:German title Ritter with Template:German title.
Having all of these templates is simply unnecessary. While some of them have 10 or so transclusions, others have none. All existing transclusions should be replacecd with the corresponding template. There's also Template:German title von and Category:German noble templates, which I'm not sure exactly what should be done with them. Template:German rank and Template:German title might also be combinable. element 21:35, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly worth merging to Template:Family name explanation. Gonnym (talk) 08:43, 3 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
{{German title Herzogin}}, {{German title Prinzessin}}, {{German title Reichsfürst}}, {{German title Edle}} are unused and should not be merged and just deleted. Gonnym (talk) 08:46, 3 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Primefac pinging you (as the creator and maintainer) for input here if you think these should go in the family one, or be their own thing. Gonnym (talk) 08:52, 8 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
{{German title}} isn't a hatnote, but wouldn't be an unreasonable target, since from the random checks I did found the templates mostly used in footnotes. That being said, the text is short enough that it wouldn't be unreasonable to merge them into the {{fne}} for use with {{fnf}} as a straight-up footnote. In other words, I think it could go either way. Primefac (talk) 21:43, 11 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: There's also Template:OTCQB, Template:OTCQX was, Template:OTCQX, Template:NASDAQ was, and Template:NASDAQ, which are all linked to each other and seem to have similar functionalities. element 21:41, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unused and probably completely out of date navigation template. If updated and added to articles, I'll withdraw nomination. Gonnym (talk) 07:20, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Unused and mostly blanked template as the club was stopped playing this year. Gonnym (talk) 07:19, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

WP:TCREEP and WP:NENAN. Being on the inaugural roster of a team is not inherently more notable than being on its seventh, eigth, or one-hundredth. Interested readers can easily go over to the 2025–26 Sporting Club Jacksonville (women) season page and see the inaugural roster there instead. Also, there is simply no precedent for this kind of template–no other USL Super League, NWSL, or women's soccer/football team has this sort of navbox floating around. 24Anonymous (talk) 04:02, 2 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
