Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Fashion

This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Fashion or clothing. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.

Adding a new AfD discussion
Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
  1. Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
  2. You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Fashion|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
Removing a closed AfD discussion
Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
Other types of discussions
You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Fashion or clothing. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

Innisfree (brand) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)

Article does not meet notability guidelines (WP:ORG). Almost all articles mentioning the brand are either promotional reviews, insignificant (only mention Innisfree as an example of a K-Beauty brand) or cover brand's PR events, such as opening of new stores.

I wasn't able to find any reliable independent resources describing the significance of this specific brand. fx (talk) 15:56, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Non-notable clothing maker. The WP:BEFORE did not show this company to be notable for an entry. Ednabrenze (talk) 15:39, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Denver perfume (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)

A promotional article for a non-notable company, recreated after soft deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Denver Perfume. (Note that this article has a lowercase p, perhaps on purpose, and thus the previous deletion is not in its logs.) The sources are all paid placement, unbylined WP:NEWSORGINDIA stuff that fails WP:CORPDEPTH and thus WP:NCORP. (One source is WP:PRIMARYSOURCE Q&A interview with the founder that's also highly promotional.) A WP:BEFORE search turns up more of the same but nothing that contributes to notability. This article was previously moved to draft space due to concerns about notability and insufficient coverage in reliable, independent sources. I reviewed the draft and declined it for lacking significant coverage to meet the general notability guideline (GNG). However, the creator has since moved it back to mainspace without addressing the sourcing concerns. While the subject has received an award, I believe it is not sufficient on its own to establish notability without substantial independent coverage. I'm bringing this to AfD so that other editors can review the article and share their opinions on whether it meets Wikipedia's notability standards. Afstromen (talk) 16:37, 16 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
