The flag displayed using  United States Coast Guard or really any of the US Coast Guard templates displays the wrong image. The current image displayed is the flag of the service, when it should display the ensign, as seen on the linked page. Llammakey (talk) 23:35, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

It's how {{Country data United States}} is set out that causes that. {{coast guard|United States|1953}} is what is needed to display  United States Coast Guard. Mjroots (talk) 07:35, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Can we add a template for Home Guards? This could cover any military body that's specifically for civil defense and in-country activities, and could cover:

• US National Guards
• Home Guards (Denmark, Sweden, Norway)
• Israel's Home Front Command
• Singapore Civil Defence Force

 Already done. The only one of the above that appears to have its own flag is Israel's HFC, which can already be shown with {{Country data Israel}}: Israel. – Jonesey95 (talk) 14:11, 25 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello everyone, I invite you to join the discussion on the Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Czechia page. We are dealing with an issue regarding the display of names Czechia / Czech Republic in flag templates there. For example, the following code:

• {{bk|CZE}} produces  Czech Republic

but the name "Czech Republic" is outdated as far as international sports federations are concerned. They have all been using the name "Czechia" for about two-three years. On mobile the flag of Switzerland is no square as it is on desktop  Switzerland Template:Country data Switzerland
