Re:2008 Saskatchewan Roughriders Season

[edit]

No problem. The biggest thing with this update is the page is inevitably going to become weighty with all the transactions. Especially, considering that each week during the season, there will likely be a minimum of 4 transactions each game, with the Reserve List players being shuffled.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Emma Nonnenmacher when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Sportswomen

[edit]

Please note that pages are not allowed to be filed in redlinked categories that don't exist, per WP:REDNOT. Our categories for sportswomen at the national level are located at "[Demonym] sportswomen", not at "Sportswomen from [Country Name]" — the only exception to that, anywhere in the entire world, is Category:Sportswomen from Georgia (country), due to the naming conflict with the US state of Georgia. For every other country, the national-level category is always at "[Demonym] sportswomen", while "Sportswomen from X" is for subnational locations, like states, provinces, regions or cities.

And furthermore, since you're already filing all of these French hockey players in Category:21st-century French sportswomen anyway, they wouldn't even need to be filed directly in Category:French sportswomen at all since they're already in a subcategory of it.

So please stop trying to file articles in "Sportswomen from [Country]" categories that don't exist. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 18:07, 13 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
