To report an error in content currently or imminently on the Main Page, use the appropriate section below.
- Where is the error? An exact quotation of the text in question helps.
- Offer a correction if possible.
- References are helpful, especially when reporting an obscure factual or grammatical error.
- Time zones. The Main Page runs on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC, currently 12:09 on 6 July 2025) and is not adjusted to your local time zone.
- Can you resolve the problem yourself? If the error lies primarily in the content of an article linked from the Main Page, fix the problem there before reporting it here. Text on the Main Page generally defers to the articles with bolded links. Upcoming content on the Main Page is usually only protected from editing beginning 24 hours before its scheduled appearance. Before that period, you can be bold and fix any issues yourself.
- Do not use {{edit fully-protected}} on this page, which will not get a faster response. It is unnecessary, because this page is not protected, and causes display problems because this is not a talk page. (See the bottom of this revision for an example.)
- No chit-chat. Lengthy discussions should be moved to a suitable location elsewhere, such as the talk page of the relevant article or project.
- Actual errors only. Failures of subjective criteria such as interestingness are not errors.
- Respect other editors. Another user wrote the text you want changed, or reported an issue they see in something you wrote. Everyone's goal should be producing the best Main Page possible. The compressed time frame of the Main Page means sometimes action must be taken before there has been time for everyone to comment. Be civil to fellow users.
- Reports are removed when resolved. Once an error has been addressed or determined not to be an error, or the item has been rotated off the Main Page, the report will be removed from this page. Check the revision history for a record of any discussion or action taken; no archives are kept.

[edit]The hook for Papal inauguration of Pope Leo XIV has a link piped to Peru, which should be removed per WP:OVERLINK, or converted to a direct link to Peruvian flag. Abductive (reasoning) 01:43, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
Done I've linked to Flag of Peru instead. Schwede66 05:09, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
The hook about Meatball (black bear) is incorrect about the noted dispute being about copyright. This is an odd case in which the source itself is incorrect. According to the article, "the sanctuary where Meatball has been living for more than a year wants Aujero to sign a contract handing over full control of the Twitter account and all rights to the bear’s name, which the Glendale resident copyrighted." However, a name falls under trademark, not copyright. I updated the Wikipedia article text to more specifically reflect the source text, and I recommend changing "copyright" to "intellectual property" or something similar in the hook. ... that Malawian bishop Fanuel Magangani was circumcised as an adult to promote its effectiveness in reducing HIV transmission?
- Does this need a medical reliable source? We don't say anything about whether adult circumcision does reduce HIV transmission, and it's on the front page. Secretlondon (talk) 05:05, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- This could be added alongside the other reference. SL93 (talk) 05:52, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- I've added How Does Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision Reduce HIV Risk? (Q135221498) to Wikidata. And tidied up the entries for the first two researchers. Schwede66 06:05, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
@DYK admins: the two issues above (Meatball (black bear) and Fanuel Magangani) deserve your attention. You might also involve nominators and reviewers, etc. Schwede66 05:20, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Good point regarding Magangani; pinging @Dclemens1971: and @Arconning: for awareness.--Launchballer 05:41, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- I have added a footnote to the Magangani article. Gatoclass (talk) 08:59, 6 July 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Why are we noting on the main page the anniversary of someone pleading not guilty to an indictment, who was ultimately never convicted of a crime? This is especially troublesome given that the indictment is pretty much their only claim to notability. I think we are pushing the envelope with BLP here. -Ad Orientem (talk) 04:47, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Well, among other things, the right column is way too long. I'll pull the hook once a new image has been protected. Ad Orientem, I'll put the hook back into the eligible heading; could you please start a discussion in a suitable place whether we should remove this hook from being eligible? Schwede66 05:15, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- Actioned. Schwede66 05:37, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
