(The above note was worded poorly), I find the review/accepts at Dean Roy, Aarron Deliu and Succes Nic Com to be low effort and "easy" reviews that were only done after the AFDs were initiated by other folks. I think there is a general lack of depth in the AFD participation and NPP work shown here which makes me trend towards a decline. Sohom (talk) 10:28, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I reviewed all of them after checking for copyvio, per copyvio material don't belong in any namespace, also I sorted them in User:Destinyokhiria/Reports, also in Succes Nic Com which i participated in the AFD Discussion, please ping me when replying as i don't always get the notification. Actively reviewing AFC now, and the reason why I apply for this access as I could help reduce the log for new pages, because many auto-confirmed articles are being created from these categories.  Not done. I see some recent AfC reviewing but not a great deal, and there are several recent messages on your talk page asking you to be more careful with draftification and other things. I think a bit more experience would be good before granting this. I'd happily give you pending changes reviewer if you applied for that. I was granted trial permissions for one month on 11/21, and as of now I have reviewed 172+ pages (mostly redirects I categorized, checked, and approved but also some articles I checked notability and edited to make passable). I am an experienced user with over 1400 mainspace edits and 3400 total. I have a large amount of experience with vandalism reversion and speedy deletions, and although I received several warnings as a new user, I am now much better at understanding the deletion criteria. I have also been given AfC, rollback, and pending changes rights. I've done some new page patrolling, but during the trial, I've spent the majority of my time helping at WP:AfC, participating in the backlog drive.  Not done, I have nothing to go on here to gauge your understanding of notability, no new articles, no AFD participation. I'm active as a recent changes patroller, as well as in WP:GOCE. i've written a few articles myself and would love the opportunity to help bring others up to par for inclusion on WP! i'm pretty well acquainted with the MOS and wikipedia's policies more generally at this stage, and think i could do a good job at communicating them to those creating new pages where relevant. i've participated in deleting articles once or twice and am familiar with the policies around that, as well as article merges and the like. i've made 1 previous request which was declined for having too few mainspace edits - i believe i should meet that criteria now. I would like to request an extension of my temporary new page reviewer rights, which are set to expire at the end of the month. I'm requesting this a bit early because I've seen these requests get backed up before and I would like to be able to participate in the upcoming NPP backlog drive in January. I was given a generous two-month trial; I reviewed a few dozen redirects and a few geology articles back in November, while this month I've done just over 50 reviews (so far) for the AfC backlog drive in addition to a few more geology articles (and a random one I nominated for deletion). I realize this might not be a tremendous amount of activity for two months, but my primary interest on Wikipedia remains writing and improving (mostly mineral) articles.
