Hello: The copy edit you requested by the Guild of Copy Editors of the article 2010 Singapore Grand Prix has been completed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards, Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:19, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

2010 Singapore Grand Prix

Hello Z105space: You will have perhaps noticed that I archived the first citation in your article 2010 Singapore Grand Prix. I notice that some of the other citations have also been archived. I would strongly suggest that you archive the rest as time allows. That ensures your article's references are available "forever". In case you don't know, the site I use is https://archive.org/web/. Simply copy the url in your citation and paste it in the box on the archive.org site and click save. It creates a copy of the original page, and provides you with a new url to add to your original citation. If you look at the url I've archived you'll see the syntax. You add the new url to the end of the original citation like this: |archiveurl= http etc|archivedate=6 Novemeber 2015}} Not all websites allow archiving - CBS TV news and the NY Times are two I've come across, so there's not much you can do about that unless there is an alternate citation you could use. Cheers. Twofingered Typist (talk) 21:24, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

@Twofingered Typist: Yes. I intended to archive the remaining links after the copy-edit was completed. Thank you for your work. Z105space (talk) 05:30, 14 November 2015 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Your GA nomination of 2000 Spanish Grand Prix

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article 2000 Spanish Grand Prix you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Jaguar -- Jaguar (talk) 13:40, 10 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi Z105space. I notice you've been adding archiveurls to some of the dead links I have tagged recently. FYI, there's a bot (Cyberbot II) which should do that automatically (and as a bonus, archive any links on the page which haven't already been archived). Having said that, I'm not sure how long it will take the bot to get around to doing them (of the 100-or-so articles I've tagged in the past few days, I think it has only fixed 5 so far) and it sometimes uses date formats which are inconsistent with the other links in the article. So, you're welcome to keep adding archiveurls (in fact, once I've finished tagging all the Formula One race report articles, I'll probably go back and add a few myself), but the bot should do them eventually if there's other stuff you'd rather do. NASCAR sponsors

Please do not remove any further NASCAR sponsors as being non-notable. Given your knowledge of auto racing, I'm surprised you have taken this action, as NASCAR drivers are highly identified with their sponsors. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:04, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

@78.26: The consensus that I am aware of is that sponsors are not to be included in NASCAR race reports/season articles but I was unsure of sponsors mentioned in driver articles. Z105space (talk) 15:18, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
That makes sense. Can you point me to where consensus was reached? WikiProject NASCAR? All the best, 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:23, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
Here is the link for the consensus for season articles. – [1] Z105space (talk) 15:30, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
Wonderful, and many thanks. I think a good point is made regarding the number of sponsors modern NASCAR drivers have to juggle, and I agree that a litany of one-off sponsorships is probably not the best for the encyclopedia. How about I take a look at the changes you made to driver articles, and I restore anything I think is important to a driver's career. If you don't agree with anything I've restored, feel free to talk to me (or the community, of course) about it. Thanks for your time and understanding. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:45, 19 January 2016 (UTC)

I intentionally wasn't going to review until someone else stepped forward and did so because I wanted to see if the inevitable would happen, which is, of course, the fact that not a single editor stepped forward to review. Of course, we can't put the blame on any particular person or group of people, but in my opinion, to have an article go over a month without attracting a single review is unacceptable. We need to find a way to get our fellow editors from the motorsports WikiProjects to review, or something. You and I have always been good about QPQ, but we need to get others involved. You have my sympathy. --Bentvfan54321 (talk) 22:37, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
