Pastor and perennial candidate from Alabama. I don't see the argument for notability. You don't get a Wikipedia page just for running for office a bunch of times. I'd support a redirect to 2022 United States Senate election in Alabama which at this time seems to be his most notable run. BottleOfChocolateMilk (talk) 13:38, 11 October 2025 (UTC)

- Keep what would the argument be for not keeping? Lasting coverage goes from his old campaigns in 2016 to 2026, ten years of coverage, and WP:BLP1E does not apply since there are several events here. Although a note that I was unsure, hence why I went through AfC. I have seen the BLP1E argument applied in political candidate discussions and it does not apply here Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 14:48, 11 October 2025 (UTC)

- Comment perennial candidate can meet WP:GNG and, in my opinion, tend to approach that point at around a decade of campaigns. However, editors in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Geoff Young (2nd nomination) seemed to want 7 or 8 campaigns instead of 5. TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 22:20, 11 October 2025 (UTC)
- Keep - the consensus has been that perennial candidates can be notable after several campaigns that receive coverage. I don't know if we ever decided on a specific number of campaigns. Bearian (talk) 14:48, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- A specific number would be very arbitrary, so not certain that would be the best way to go about it Yoblyblob (Talk) :) 17:30, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
- Keep as has multiple reliable sources significant coverage referenced in the article so passes WP:GNG and ten years of elections is not WP:BLP1E, imv Atlantic306 (talk) 22:13, 12 October 2025 (UTC)
