Autopatrolled

[edit]
(add request · view requests)

Hello, I'd like to request autopatrolled rights, seeing as I've made 32 mainspace articles, none of which are stubs (I do not rate my own created pages). Thus far, I've focused on creating pages related to music, most of which pertain to WP:Albums. Thanks, Fundgy (talk) 06:10, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Quick note about Rough Trade Records soundtracks. That was meant to be a category but I forgot to add "Category:" in front, so I requested its deletion myself. Fundgy (talk) 06:17, 9 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I was recently recommended by Aszx5000 on my talk page to apply for Autopatrolled permission. I have made about 6,700 edits and authored 88 articles and counting, which I always aim to publish at C or B class quality. I believe I have a strong understanding of relevant policy which I'm always striving to improve, and am always open to feedback and correction. Cheers! (Non-administrator comment) Can't believe I missed this! @Johnson524 has 18 GAs to date and 86 total mainspace creations, of which none have been deleted. Their articles, such as Dobropillia offensive, are extremely well-written and are researched to a high standard with verifiable sources. My previous interactions with them have been positive. Their draft Draft:Durrr Burger was criticised for not meeting WP:GNG and having MOS:IN-U problems, but they took the feedback very well. I hope @Johnson524 doesn't mind me saying that I think they deserve AP! 11WB (talk) 23:21, 18 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I have made about 25 articles or so and I believe the articles I make are of a pretty high quality since all get reviewed at some point and have never been AfD'd. Nearly two months ago, I was recommended for this permission by an editor with the NPP permission who stated, "Since you appear trustworthy as an editor seems you may be in the running for autopatrolled rights any week/month from now."[1] I also believe granting me this permission will reduce the backlog for NPP permission holders since my pages will not appear on their backlog for them to need to review. @Gjb0zWxOb: Administrators who grant autopatrolled are typically looking for assurance that the nominee can edit independently and without oversight from new pages patrol. Could you comment on why you were blocked from mainspace earlier this year and what, if anything, you've changed about your editing since being unblocked? Yes, I was temporarily blocked for not having edit summaries that were descriptive enough and for not being responsive on my talk page in a couple of instances. Since then, my edit summaries are a lot more descriptive and I respond to every inquiry on my talkpage. Gjb0zWxOb (talk) 17:58, 12 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I do not think that OCEAN (Bitcoin mining pool) is notable. The sources are PR/churnalism/routine coverage. However, that was six months ago. (I saw this article when it was newly created but didn't do anything for some reason.) (Non-administrator comment) Helpful Raccoon (talk) 19:11, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Pinging @Gjb0zWxOb. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 21:40, 16 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
  • (Non-administrator comment) Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia, @Gjb0zWxOb! I agree with @Helpful Raccoon, many of your articles, for example Regulation of cryptocurrency include quite heavy use of unreliable sources like WP:FORBESCON, which completely lack any editorial oversight. You've also had some of your articles nominated for deletion recently. I'm not an administrator, so my opinion really doesn't have any weight here, however AP is given to editors whose articles don't require any action from new page reviewers (such as myself). Definitely carry on creating articles, as on the whole, you definitely have the correct neutral writing style! Happy editing! 11WB (talk) 03:16, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, I'm not comfortable at this time with granting AP looking at your recent creations. Your latest creation is up at AFD which imo is a pretty instant disqualifier. I do recognize that the areas that you are editing are tough to get right, but that implies that having other folks provide a 2O on your creations will be a good thing for the time being. Hello there! I would like to request the autopatrolled user right. I have read and understood WP:APCRITERIA, and have understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, inter alia, biographies of living persons, copyright, verifiability, and notability. In recent months, I have become more prolific in article creation and have been careful to ensure that my work meets content and sourcing standards. I have five successful DYK nominations, which shows my familiarity with quality requirements and review processes. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 08:05, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Updated to a  Not done for now, per offwiki conversations and concerns regarding ticket:2024123110000829 (and others) do need addressing. Sohom (talk) 08:19, 17 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

My name is The Knowledge Pirate. I was previously known as Scorpions13256, and Scorpions1325. Since I created my first account in 2010, I have created 77 active articles. None have been deleted, and I have not had any issues brought to my attention about my articles since I started editing with this account. I have 7 DYK's, but no GA or FA's. Other articles include Mamie Colvin, Turner County High School, and Nettie Johnson. I understand WP:GNG and WP:BLP better than I did when I became more prolific in 2020, and I think getting this right will save reviewers a lot of work. Once I am done with a long-term project, I intend to create a lot more articles. The Knowledge Pirate (talk) 20:32, 15 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I would like to request autopatrolled rights. I have authored 29 articles thus far and have enjoyed being part of the Wikipedia community for the last few years. I have a particular interest in creating and editing articles on the music, literature, and history of Scandinavia and Iceland (being multilingual, I am able to make use of sources in all the relevant languages). I have a solid understanding of WP:GNG and WP:BLP and strive to create high-quality articles that meet content and sourcing standards. I hope my work demonstrates that I am able to work independently and produce good articles according to the guidelines. I am always open to feedback and instructions, and do my best to interact with others here in a friendly and civil manner. Thanks! Cosimoprimo (talk) 12:01, 19 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
