Building off previous consensus that state legislative special elections are not inherently notable. I don't see a reason why any of these three pages rise above your average state legislative special election in terms of notability. I'd support a redirect to 2025 United States state legislative elections#Delaware, though merging to a newly created 2025 Delaware elections page could work if someone was willing to make that page. - Delete: The primary editor per Xtools appears to share a name with a band member listed in the article, this would suggest a potential WP:COI. This being said however, I am aware that per AfD rules, this COI would not qualify as a reason for deletion on its own. Along with this, AfDs have us comment on the content and not the creator. With this in mind, I believe this article does not meet WP:GNG or WP:NBAND, due to a complete lack of any references. - Delete: Was unable to find significant coverage, does not appear to meet WP:GNG nor any of the twelve possible criteria for WP:BAND, and due to the current unsourced state of the article it is unsuitable to be merged. The most substantial mention I found was in Day the Country Died: A History of Anarcho Punk 1980–1984, ISBN 9781604869880, but even that characterizes the band as having
"never really broke out of their local scene"
and the majority of the coverage is an interview with member Jaz Wiseman. A great source for an existing article, but insufficient to establish notability on its own. Please ping me if other sources are found. fifteen thousand two hundred twenty four (talk) 17:10, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

I have carried out WP:BEFORE for this article about a private sixth form college. The references in the existing version of the article are all primary, mostly the college's website, with one reference to the college's listing at the Department for Education, references to Ofsted for the inspection reports, a listing of the college at the professional association for independent sixth-form colleges and another at a firm of educational consultants. The only significant coverage I have found is the college's listing in Which London School?. I am not sure if this is an independent source or whether it is based on information from the college. In any case, it is only one source so I don't think WP:GNG or WP:NCORP is met. Tacyarg (talk) 14:56, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

I can't find any information about something specifically called the serrano dialect, either in English or in Spanish. "Serrano" in Spanish means "mountain range", so the term "dialecto serrano" is very generic, akin to "city slang". It does not seem to refer a specific dialect from a specific place. In fact, a quick Google search shows that many dialects have been called "dialecto serrano" in different Spanish speaking countries. It does not satisfy the notability requirements for a Wikipedia article. JohnMizuki (talk) 14:52, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

- Delete. Unquestionably WP:LISTCRUFT. A couple of the authors may be notable, however they should be included in a broader list of Indian authors. - '''Keep'''. While the list is niche, several authors on the list (e.g. Savi Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Preeti Shenoy) are independently notable. - Request regarding List of Indian Kindle-published writers
- Hi
- I noticed that you participated in the deletion discussion for the article "List of Indian Kindle-published writers." I respect your opinion, but I would like to share that I’m working on improving the article significantly with better reliable sources, removing non-notable names, and making the scope broader and more neutral.
- This list aims to document a notable trend in modern Indian publishing — the rise of self-publishing via Kindle Direct Publishing — with references from national-level media like Times of India, Dainik Bhaskar, etc.
- If you think there’s still a chance for improvement or merging instead of deletion, your advice or support would really help.
- Thanks & Regards, User:Masterman087 Masterman087 (talk) 16:03, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

Doesn't stack up. There are a couple of pieces of in-depth coverage, but I don't think they are independent, or not reliable. I don't feel this article meets the general English Wikipedia's notability criteria (WP:GNG). The subject of the article is not widely known, and its status is merely a local government subordinate to the higher Sultanate of Tidore, with territorial changes that may not exist, or are unclear, and there is no evidence that it ever became an independent entity in its own right (WP:GEOLAND). The sources cited also don't go into much detail about the state, Most of the material comes from only one source, and is not found in other sources, or other sources do not discuss this state. ▪︎ Fazoffic ( ʖ╎ᓵᔑ∷ᔑ) 10:27, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

- I am absolutely opposed to the deletion. The article is relevant, these literary gatherings are a fundamental part of Spanish literature and —I would add— of universal literature in Spanish. A simple internet search yields numerous sources that discuss the topic. I would also like to point out that the user who initiated this AfD also opened a CdB on eswiki, similarly claiming that "the article didn't seem relevant and that they couldn't find references on the subject" — references which, quite clearly, do exist. CarlosEduardoPA (talk) 17:46, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

- Note. Passing mentions also qualify as references, as they can contain notable content. Also, depending on the reliability of the source, it can be used as a what I call "it exists" references, references that only come up on the short description.

Very niche fictional object, no evidence of WP:GNG for this topic. Pure plot summary and list of appearances, no analysis/reception. Per WP:ATD-R, maybe redirect this to Namor, where this item is mentioned few times in the usual gargantuan plot summary there? - Delete or Merge to Namor. Doesn't seem to have any serious coverage about it specifically, definitely not deserving of an individual page. ULPS (talk • contribs) 16:54, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- Delete - The current article is just pure plot summary with no sources that would indicate it passes the WP:GNG, and searches are not turning up any additional significant coverage in reliable sources. I suppose I would not be opposed to redirecting to Namor, as it is already mentioned throughout that article, if that helps form a consensus. Rorshacma (talk) 17:23, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

Niche fictional object, little evidence of WP:GNG for this topic (there is 2021 ScreenRant: [9] and a weaker 2022 from SR as well: [10]). That said, they are mostly plot summaries anyway (and the odds are good they mostly rewrote Wikipedia and Fandom...); what we have is pure plot summary and list of appearances, no analysis/reception. Slight merge and redirect to Mandarin (character) would suffice instead of hard deletion, per WP:ATD-R. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:21, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

I believe it clearly fails WP:NCORP. This is the closest thing to SIGCOV I can find (though, ironically, not used in the article at all), but other than that it appears to be entirely trivial or not fulfilling WP:CORPDEPTH. - I wonder if the notability criteria for companies is stricter than the games they produced, given that they have their own notability criteria, but not for games. Or maybe its just that they don't really write about the company and focus on games instead. I'm surprised that it even went thru AfC and expected that reviewers should accept drafts that have a good change to not be nominated for (or survive an) AfD. I've been a reviewer since the start of the year. JuniperChill (talk) 10:36, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- I'd say the criteria are exactly the same for companies and their games. NCORP is just a specific way of applying GNG, making it more clear what is and isn't significant coverage. The issue is that games are more notable than companies, because most companies only matter in a rather geographically confined area or employ a very small amount of people, whereas the games are distributed globally and get the coverage that entails. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 13:00, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

- Keep. Satisfies WP:BAND criteria #2 ("has had a single or album on any country's national music chart") and #6 ("is an ensemble that contains two or more independently notable musicians"). This is the band that Prince first recorded with as a teenager. When their recordings were first commercially released a few years later after Prince came to stardom, their one song co-written by Prince reached the Billboard R&B singles chart (see pp. 28 and 30). Since Colonel Abrams and André Cymone were also members, the group satisfies the criterion of having two or more independently notable musicians. From what I can find when searching for her, the only websites that mainly appear are her page here, her IMDb profile, other social media profiles (such as Instagram and mentions on TikTok), and various movie database pages that simply list the roles she's had. Going off of WP:NACTOR, she could be considered notable in her field if
[she] has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions;
or if[she] has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment
. Neither of these appear to be the case here, as almost all the roles she appears to have had up to this point have been very minor or recurring roles, some of which were only an appearance in a single episode (in terms of her television roles). The article brings together two instances of media crossing the Irish border. It's not clear to me that this merits an article in itself, and the fact that the article hasn't developed much in the past 12 years from the contributors of the page creator indicates to me that this isn't an obvious point of discussion, or how this information is logically available within this encyclopedia. This article should be deleted as the gene is not significant or notable enough to have its own article. I believe that if it was to be included in Wikipedia it would be as a sub-section of another page about genes or genes causing certain conditions. As well as this, the article is undeniably short and does not provide much information which points to not information to give, either way this article should be deleted — Preceding unsigned comment added by Poland44444444 (talk • contribs)

- Wikipedia can have information about NUS1 in multiple places; a hypothetical larger article could have a section about NUS1 that links to this article that's dedicated to NUS1. In fact, merging can make the information less visible because it has to share space with a lot of tangential or unrelated content. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 03:50, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

The author was extremely prolific with his writing, which in my experience usually results in a lack of coverage for an author's individual works, particularly with non-fiction works. The places and people who would cover the works tend to focus on the author's body of work as a whole, rather than focus on individual pieces. This book doesn't appear to be an exception to that, as I can't really find anything to show that this is independently notable of the author. - Keep: The routine coverage standard is usually used to dismiss articles from PR firms that have close financial ties to the companies they report about. Reuters is not a PR firm, and they don't report about every fundraising event from every startup. The nominator has the implication backwards: routine coverage can come in the form of fundraising news, but not all fundraising news is routine coverage.
- And independent of all this, This case study that already appears in the article can clearly be used to establish notability. I would need to see something more than a bare assertion that the sources in the article constitute "trivial reporting" in order to change my !vote. HyperAccelerated (talk) 02:40, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Delete. Every source is valuations and funding rounds - where is the ORGCRIT? qcne (talk) 12:32, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Strong Keep - I can't agree with assertions that every source is valuations and funding rounds; in fact most are not. After looking over the list of references it seems to me that about two-thirds of sources cover substantial business activities rather than financial reporting. For example: Harvard Business School case study on the company's business model, Bloomberg's analysis of autonomous vehicle simulation technology and industry challenges, coverage of strategic partnerships with major automakers like Isuzu, Axios coverage of military AI products, Breaking Defense analysis of acquisitions, and a recent CNBC piece discussing the company's AI technology and dual-use applications. These sources provide exactly the type of in-depth critical analysis and commentary from major newspapers, trusted academic institutions, and high-quality mainstream websites that establish notability. I think this article definitely should be kept. Soxfanruthian (talk) 01:08, 1 July 2025 (UTC)

The nominator's WP:CORPTRIV argument fundamentally mischaracterizes the available sources and fails to recognize substantial coverage that clearly establishes notability under WP:CORP. The claim that all coverage consists of "routine business reporting" ignores multiple sources providing detailed analysis of the company's technology, strategic significance, and industry impact. Academic recognition establishes clear notability: Harvard Business School published a comprehensive case study on Applied Intuition (ref #5). Academic institutions do not create detailed business case studies for companies lacking significant industry impact or innovative business models. This represents exactly the type of substantial, analytical coverage that WP:CORP requires and directly contradicts claims of trivial coverage. Technology-focused coverage beyond financial reporting: Multiple sources provide substantial analysis of business operations and technological significance:
Strategic industry partnerships demonstrate operational significance: Coverage of partnerships with major automakers provides substantial analysis of business activities that clearly exceed routine reporting:
Defense sector recognition for national security applications: Recent coverage demonstrates expansion into critical national security applications:
Sustained coverage across multiple years and topics: The reference list spans 2018-2025 with coverage from major publications focusing on technology developments, strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and industry recognition—not just funding announcements. This sustained attention across multiple business cycles and topics demonstrates the type of ongoing coverage that WP:CORP requires. Financial coverage as evidence of significance: While the nominator dismisses funding announcements as routine, the sustained financial coverage from major publications like Bloomberg, Forbes, and Wall Street Journal spanning multiple funding rounds over seven years actually demonstrates the type of ongoing attention that indicates notability. WP:CORPTRIV does not prohibit all financial coverage—it prohibits trivial financial coverage. When major business publications consistently cover a company's growth trajectory across multiple years, this represents substantial coverage of significant business developments, not routine announcements. The nominator's assertion that partnerships with 18 of the top 20 global automakers and expansion into defense applications constitute mere "routine business reporting" misapplies WP:CORPTRIV. These represent exactly the "significant business activities" and "major corporate developments" that the policy explicitly recognizes as notable. The Harvard Business School case study alone provides the substantial, analytical coverage that clearly exceeds any reasonable interpretation of the WP:CORPTRIV threshold. This article meets WP:CORP through multiple independent sources providing substantial coverage of technology, industry impact, and business significance that extends well beyond routine financial reporting. Request for nomination withdrawal: Given the substantial evidence demonstrating clear notability under WP:CORP, I respectfully request that the nominator consider withdrawing this nomination. The article is supported by multiple independent sources providing substantial coverage that extends well beyond routine business reporting, including academic recognition, detailed technology analysis, and sustained industry coverage across multiple years and topics. - @Sebirkhan As not all the exonyms listed are English how about you keep it by translating it to Azerbaijani Wikipedia? Chidgk1 (talk) 09:29, 6 July 2025 (UTC)
- At the moment, the Azerbaijani Wikipedia does not have this article, but there is a similar one: az:Köhnə Azərbaycan ekzonimlərinin siyahısı (list of old Azerbaijani exonyms).
- It is based only on historical data and names that were used back when the Azerbaijani language used Arabic script.
- But the article "Azerbaijani exonyms" is not relevant to Azerbaijani Wikipedia, since some names on the Azerbaijani Wikipedia are already written in Azerbaijani way, for example, İrevan instead of Yerevan. I mean that the article Azerbaijani exonyms, which exists on the English Wikipedia, is more relevant for those who do not know the Azerbaijani language and do not use the Azerbaijani Wikipedia.
- and since the Azerbaijani article az:Köhnə Azərbaycan ekzonimlərinin siyahısı (list of old Azerbaijani exonyms) is based on historical data of only the Azerbaijani language, it does not contain many names that came from other Turkic languages, which are relevant for Siberia, Balkans, China, etc. which are exist in English article Azerbaijani Exonyms Sebirkhan (talk) 22:01, 6 July 2025 (UTC)

- Islamic monarchy (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
- (Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)
This article, as it is, is simple WP:OR and has been completely unsourced throughout its existence. There is no such thing as an "Islamic monarcy", as distinct from other types of monarchy, just as there is no specific blanket concept of "Christian monarchy" or "Hindu monarchy" versus other monarchies. No reliable references I've seen make that argument, and indeed some make arguments of continuity between Muslim monarchies and other historical traditions of monarchy (e.g. [48]). There are specific instances and ideologies of monarchy in present-day and past Islamic societies, but they have many differences and do not together form a cohesive and distinct concept known as "Islamic monarchy".
There could certainly be a valid topic in something like Monarchy in Islam, which could discuss the concept of monarchical rule in relation to Islamic religion and political thought and for which there are useful sources (e.g. [49], [50]), but that would be a completely different article. If anyone wants to start that article now, we could redirect this there instead. Otherwise, the best course of action is to delete. At best, maybe this could be a DAB page for terms like Emirate, Sultanate, Caliphate, but even that sounds a little silly, as these things are simply covered (or should be) at Monarchy. 1) Much of the page is merely from AI
2) There is nothing specifically showing that he contributed to the achievements framed in the article, just that he was in power while they happened
3) After a quick google search all I could find on him were Facebook posts by his organisation

More besides, he is an executive committee member of the Confederation of African Football, the highest football body on the continent of Africa.
It was under his administration, the Liberia Football Association made those achievement. Therefore, I am confused why it is mention that he did not contribute.

- Thanks for the feedback. I understand the notability concerns and am working to improve sourcing. That said, moving directly to an AfD nomination — without first suggesting tags or improvements — seemed somewhat premature, especially given that the subject has a long-standing career that began before the digital documentation era.
- Tallis Barker performed widely in the US and UK, taught at Oxford, and is now known for his work in therapeutic fasting and integrative health. While some of his contributions are outside traditional academic or media channels, they reflect a cross-disciplinary profile that may merit consideration under broader notability criteria.

Using tools to assist with tone and clarity is not against policy, and doesn’t make the contribution less valid. Let’s stay focused on the substance of the discussion, please. - Delete: Hints of notability [51] but there's a lack of sourcing to show notability. Doesn't seem to meet academic notability as I can't find much on his publications. Oaktree b (talk) 14:06, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- The thesis is listed on Wikidata (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q59575109), and was originally added by a third party back in 2018. Rekaga71 (talk) 16:39, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- I know, I've been informed (by having some of my articles deleted/declined at creation) that having a listing in Wikidata isn't a mark of notability here, it's only to help locate resources on a subject. This was a source of much frustration when I contributed to the articles for creation process; having an article in Wikipedia hinges on having sources that meet our reliability requirements. Disputed redirect without improvement. Currently zero in-depth coverage, and Searches did not turn up enough in-depth coverage from independent, reliable sources to support meeting WP:GNG. Onel5969 TT me 00:01, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

- Redirect to Myrtle Avenue Elevated#Station listing (or perhaps merge to Central Avenue station (BMT Myrtle Avenue Line)#History). The closed elevated stations are a mixed bag as far as notability goes. Because of its short lifespan and early closure, there doesn't seem to be any significant coverage of this station. - Redirect to BMT_Myrtle_Avenue_Line#Opening: or the table below where it's mentioned. Insufficient coverage to merit a standalone article. Star Mississippi 00:59, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
- Keep. If this article gets deleted, then every other closed station article like Park Avenue should get deleted as well, and this sets a bad precedent. —LRG5784 (talk · contribs · email) 03:17, 9 July 2025 (UTC)

- Keep If deleted, it's entirely possible that, down the road, some overly-eager editor will remove the relevant information from whatever article this is merged into, as it's a minor part of the line's history. Being from so long ago, sources are also going to be hard to find, so I don't want to dismiss there being more good sources out there. Never mind that I'm not sure who following such a pessimistic possibly overly-literal interpretation of the deletion policy helps in this case - though fixing policy is another discussion entirely.
